In many parts of Betul, wells and borewells run low by summer and farmers depend entirely on a good monsoon. By capturing rainwater where it falls and reviving traditional water bodies, we can recharge groundwater and reduce the yearly water crisis.
बैतूल के कई हिस्सों में गर्मियों तक कुएँ और बोरवेल सूख जाते हैं और किसान पूरी तरह अच्छे मानसून पर निर्भर रहते हैं। वर्षा जल को वहीं रोककर और परंपरागत जल स्रोतों को पुनर्जीवित कर हम भूजल बढ़ा सकते हैं।

Rooftop rainwater harvesting / छत वर्षा जल संचयन
Simple, low-cost systems channel rooftop rainwater into recharge pits or storage tanks. A single good roof can capture thousands of litres in one monsoon.
सरल और कम लागत वाली प्रणालियाँ छत के वर्षा जल को रिचार्ज गड्ढों या टंकियों में पहुँचाती हैं। एक अच्छी छत एक ही मानसून में हज़ारों लीटर पानी संचित कर सकती है।
Pond and well revival / तालाब व कुआँ पुनर्जीवन
We work with villages to desilt old ponds, repair check dams and build recharge structures so that more rainwater soaks into the ground instead of running away.
हम गाँवों के साथ मिलकर पुराने तालाबों की गाद निकालते हैं, चेक डैम सुधारते हैं और रिचार्ज संरचनाएँ बनाते हैं।
Awareness and habits / जागरूकता और आदतें
Conservation also means everyday habits — fixing leaks, reusing greywater for gardens, and watering crops efficiently with methods like drip irrigation.
संरक्षण का अर्थ रोज़मर्रा की आदतें भी हैं — रिसाव ठीक करना, बगीचों के लिए पानी पुनः उपयोग करना और ड्रिप सिंचाई से कुशल सिंचाई।
